It's rodeo time once again folks. I don't know about you but, I like this time of year. Especially since I love a good excuse to wear my blinged out jewelry, boots, and rock some big hair. I don't really care for the music line up in the SBC Center. I am spoiled. I get to see shows up close. They don't require me to sit in a seat from the nosebleed section to see a tiny person on a round stage. Really though, I am not impressed with the lineup. I do support the mission of the rodeo with what it does for kids and agriculture. What is far more entertaining (at least to me) than what you see on the inside is (insert drumroll here)...
The 8th Annual Songwriters Front Porch
If you are on the rodeo grounds at any time I suggest you check out the people that are coming in to perform. They are on site everyday of the Rodeo and located in the center of the Food Court. There are picnic tables where you can enjoy some food, a cold beverage or just listen to your favorite songwriter. This is a very nice line up listed below. Please stop by and listen to these guys and gals. I did highlight the artists that I have seen perform before. These are Hurricane Highway approved. The ones not highlighted I haven't seen to tell you anything about them. It doesn't mean they don't deserve your ears to listen.
